The Graven Hill Community Garden has been featured across several local news outlets following the first planting activities at the site. 

Around 15 volunteers and partners helped construct compost bins, ready the school allotment and plant plum trees and herbs in the garden’s newest bed.

Last couple of months saw big steps forward on the garden site, including levelling, path preparation and early shaping of the growing beds. 

Meet Zak, age 10, who’s taking on a 100-mile challenge to help build our community garden’s new polytunnel and create a peaceful space for local children. 

Callum Miller, MP, visited the site to learn how community volunteers, the school, and local developers are working together to bring the garden to life.
